In 1963, with just one truck, Frank C. Alegre, Sr. started a company known today as Frank C. Alegre Trucking, Inc. In 1973, it became an active California Corporation. With the support and assistance of his wife, Helen Alegre, the business grew and on January 1, 2000 Frank and Helen passed on the leadership role to Tony Alegre, their middle son.
The company now has over 200 employees and dispatches 170 units and 400 sets of trailers of its own, while maintaining contracts with many independent operators. With roots in the dirt-moving portion of the construction industry, the company has expanded into hauling construction materials and bulk foods products. Alegre Trucking is centrally located in the San Joaquin Valley with its main terminal in Lodi, California. Other terminals in Northern California are located in Stockton and Fowler.
Alegre Trucking’s home terminal includes a full-service fleet maintenance department employing approximately 35-40 full-time maintenance personnel. The maintenance program is fully computerized, including all inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and inventory.
The entire fleet is outfitted with private radio equipment and a GPS tracking system for instant dispatch communication.
Job Description:
Now Hiring in Stockon/Lodi area-
Drives truck to transport and deliver cargo, materials or products.
Maintains contact with base via trakit devise to receive instruction or bedispatched to locations. Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations. Keeps record of materials and products transported. Hooking and unhooking trailers from truck. Required hours are 8 to 16 hours daily 40 to 80 hours a week work some weekends. Locals runs in food grade divison.

FOOD GRADE
The Food Grade division is broken up into two divisions, liquid and dry bulk. A. Liquid - The liquid division transports food grade commodities suchas vegetable oil, liquid sugar, molasses and corn syrup. B. Dry Bulk - The dry bulk division transports commodities such as flour, sugar, oat bran and malt. We also haul plastic pellets and plastic resin in this division. We use both straight pneumatics and self loaders in this division depending
upon the application. Specialized Operations - Many of our customers need our services to vacuum out their silo or to trans load product from a rail car to their silo. We
have the capability to do this with our specialized equipment.

Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL with double,triple and tank endorsements.We require a clean DMV within the last three years with a minimum two years' driving experience. However, we do offer a training program for individuals with very little, if any experience in driving.
